Saturday project: a flower bed in front of the garden house. I don't have any before pics but basically I laid all the sandstones in front of the house, the bricks, and two more plates on the left side to extend it out a bit. The grass was dying in front of the garden house for some reason so rather than try to fix it, I just removed it. I think it actually looks a lot nicer than the grass now.
Oh and I put a nail on the wall so we could hang the sprinkler when we aren't using it.
Looks good, were the rocks there before or are they a new touch? As far as the grass dying: I'll bet lack of sunlight judging by the shadows and too much water. Probably the low point of the yard with the shed there compressing soils. (I'm looking at the dead grass around the pipes in the grass too.)
You're better off having gravel or paving stones around a faucet because it's going to get overwatered no matter what.
We have sand colored gravel under the faucet.
Ah. Well nevermind then.
That looks amazing. Absolutely beautiful. Looks like ze Germans have bewitched the witch.
